The challenge
EthosEnergy has a wealth of specialist knowledge inside the business. Its teams understand complex equipment, demanding operating environments, and the commercial pressures facing customers across the energy industry.
Turning that expertise into useful content takes careful judgement. The copy needs enough technical detail to be credible with an informed audience, while still giving every reader a clear route through the subject.
EthosEnergy also needed extra support to keep content moving across several channels. That meant getting to grips with new topics quickly, working closely with the people who knew them best, and producing copy that was consistent in both quality and voice.
Getting to grips with the detail
I worked from detailed briefs, technical source material, and input from subject-matter experts to understand what each piece needed to say and why it mattered to the audience.
From there, I shaped the information into a clear structure, explained specialist points in straightforward language, and kept the commercial relevance in view throughout.
The aim was to respect the expertise behind the content without expecting every reader to arrive with the same level of knowledge. The finished pieces could go deep where the subject demanded it, while remaining focused and readable.

Building customer success stories
Customer stories added another layer to the work. These case study projects often brought together engineering decisions, operational pressures, tight timelines, and measurable commercial outcomes.
My job was to find the thread connecting those details and turn it into a story with a clear challenge, response, and result. That meant showing the value of the work while keeping the technical claims accurate and giving the people involved proper credit.
The result was a growing set of customer stories that demonstrated EthosEnergy’s capabilities through real projects rather than broad promises.

Keeping the content moving
The work also covered thought leadership, newsletters, and social copy. Each format needed a different level of detail, but the core thinking had to remain consistent from one channel to the next.
A technical article might explore an issue in depth. A newsletter needed to draw several stories together. Social copy then had to give people a useful reason to click without oversimplifying the subject.
Working across that mix helped EthosEnergy maintain a steady flow of content while making better use of the knowledge already inside the business.
The result
The relationship developed into ongoing support across a wide range of technical and commercial subjects.
EthosEnergy gained flexible content support that could handle detailed engineering topics, bring customer projects to life, and adapt the same expertise for different audiences and channels.
