The practical stuff
Privacy and cookies
How RWE Copy uses the information you choose to share.
Last updated: 13 August 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
RWE Copy Ltd is responsible for the personal information described on this page. If you have a question about how your information is used, email robeadescopy@gmail.com.
What information is collected?
If you use the contact form, you may choose to share your name, email address, the type of help you need, and details about your project. The form is processed by Netlify Forms, which stores the submission so RWE Copy can receive and manage your enquiry.
RWE Copy may also receive basic technical information that hosting providers routinely process to deliver and protect a website, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics collects information about how the site is used. This may include pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, the referring website, and basic interactions with the site. Analytics does not start unless you accept it.
Why is it used?
Information you send is used to reply to your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare a proposal or quote, and keep appropriate business records. The legal basis will usually be taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, or RWE Copy’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the business.
With your consent, analytics information is used to understand how people find and use the website and where it could be improved. It is not used for personalised advertising.
Who receives it?
Your information is not sold. Netlify provides the website hosting and form-processing service. Google provides Google Analytics if you accept analytics. These providers may process information outside the UK using their applicable data-protection safeguards. You can read the Netlify privacy statement (opens in a new tab) and Google privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
How long is it kept?
Enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active project, meet legal and accounting duties, or deal with a dispute. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Analytics information is retained according to the settings applied within Google Analytics.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics is optional. The site does not load Google Analytics or set analytics cookies until you select “Accept analytics”. If you accept, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies for up to two years to distinguish visits and sessions. Advertising cookies are not enabled.
The site stores your analytics choice in your browser for up to six months so it does not need to ask on every visit. This preference is used only to remember your choice.
You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops future measurement and removes the Google Analytics cookies the site can access from your browser.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. You can make a request by emailing robeadescopy@gmail.com. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
